Syrian opposition leaders meet in Turkey
Exiled dissidents call for campaign of civil disobedience to try to force out Bashar al-Assad from power.

At least 400 members of Syrian opposition, divided between conservatives Islamists and liberals, attended a National Salvation Congress in Istanbul on Saturday to try to unite behind the goal of ending 41 years of Assad family rule.
They urged their compatriots to launch a campaign of civil disobedience to try to force Assad from power.
