Kenya refugee camp struggles with influx

Refugee camps across border from Somalia cannot cope with flood of people seeking help.

Somalia

Millions of people in Kenya, Somalia, Ethiopia and Djibouti are at risk of starvation. Almost 3,000 refugees are arriving at a refugee camp daily in Dabaab, on the Kenya-Somalia.

There are already 440,000 people in the refugee camp.

In central Kenya, the situation is no better. Refugee camps in Kenya, like the one run by Save the Children, are struggling to cope with the influx of refugees.

Al Jazeera’s Peter Greste reports from the camp in Kenya.
