Former Philippine governor to testify against family
Zaldy Ampatuan says he will testify about his father’s and brother’s roles in 2009 massacre.

Zaldy Ampatuan, a former Philippine governor, says he is willing to testify against two of the main suspects involved in a 2009 massacre – his father and brother. But Ampatuan himself is also a suspect.
The Maguindanao province killings, also known as the Ampatuan massacre, after the town where mass graves were found, resulted in 57 dead.
The former governor told Al Jazeera he is worried his family will try to kill him for testifying against them.
