Syria’s brutal crackdown continues

Syria unrest

At least 30 people have been killed in Syria’s fourth largest city, Hama, after security forces opened fire on one of the largest anti-government protests in almost four months of unrest.

Syria’s official news agency said troops only started shooting after protesters, whom the government termed ‘infiltrators’, tried to burn government buildings.
