Al-Qaeda-linked groups have claimed responsibility for deadly attacks in Niger, Mali, Mauritania, Algeria, and Nigeria.
African leaders have welcomed the killing of Osama bin Laden. But several of them are questioning the nature of the killing and warning of retaliatory attacks.
