Delegates from 25 Libyan councils have declared their support for the Transitional National Council, Libya’s opposition party.
The leaders who were elected under Muammar Gaddafi’s rule met in the United Arab Emirates, marking the first time delegates from the western and southern regions, including tribal figures, have met to discuss Libya’s future.
