Revenge in Benghazi, Libya

France, Italy and Britain have promised to send army officers to advise opposition forces on the ground in Libya.

Meanwhile, the United States says it will provide $25m in non-lethal aid to help pro-democracy forces fighting troops loyal to Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi.

However, as Al Jazeera’s Sue Turton reports, some residents of the eastern Libyan city of Benghazi are so angry with the state of their progress against Gaddafi, they are taking it upon themselves to carry out what they believe is justice.

Some viewers may find images in this report distressing.
