US rig workers fear for future
A year after America’s worst-ever oil spill, workers stare at a grim future as environmental concerns stall drilling.

Oil-rig workers in the Gulf of Mexico are concerned about their livelihoods one year after the Deepwater Horizon rig exploded causing the United States’ worst-ever off-shore oil spill.
The disaster has badly affected America’s deep water drilling industry, with much of its equipment lying idle amid discussions on more stringent safety and environmental standards.
Al Jazeera’s John Terrett reports on the situation from Louisiana.
