EU mulls military role in Libya
Foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton talks to Al Jazeera about possibility of ‘EU boots on the ground’.

European Union could send up to 1,000 soldiers into Libya to help deliver aid as the crisis deepens there.
The troops could only operate with a specific UN mandate, said Baroness Catherine Ashton, the EU foreign and security policy chief.
Ashton spoke to Al Jazeera’s Folly Bah Thibault in our Doha newsroom.
