The US elections may be more than a year away, but campaigning has kicked off in earnest.
Barack Obama, the US president, has been raising funds in Chicago for his re-election bid.
For now, it seems there is no clear front-runner to challenge him.
Al Jazeera’s Anand Naidoo reports on the wide-open Republican race.
