Iraq tensions rise over Kirkuk
Arabs stress common heritage as Kurds expelled by Saddam Hussein seek to reassert their rights.

Jalal Talabani, Iraq’s Kurdish president, has angered Arab politicians in his country by referring to Kirkuk as the “Kurdish Jerusalem”.
Arabs who live in the region, which has been disputed for generations, say that his comments paint them as foreign occupiers.
Al Jazeera’s Rawya Rageh reports from Kirkuk on the growing tensions there.
