Nuclear transparency urged in Japan
Japan’s government is under pressure to be more transparent about the situation at a stricken nuclear plant.

For the first time in six months, the Japanese government has downgraded its assessment of the economy.
Japan had been making steady progress in recovering from a 15-year recession, but last month’s earthquake and the subsequent nuclear crises have hurt key areas of its economy.
The government is now under pressure to be more transparent about the nuclear situation.
