Locals in northeastern Afghanistan province say planned US troop withdrawal may bring fresh threats.

There are just a few months left before NATO forces start their phased withdrawal from Afghanistan – and begin transfering power back to the national army.

But some Afghans in the country’s northeast are worried that the handover will allow the Taliban to return.

Al Jazeera’s Sue Turton reports from Bamyan, which borders Baghlan – a province where Taliban forces have been gaining strength.
