Egypt vote ‘marks break with past’

Millions of Egyptians have turned out to vote in a landmark referendum on constitutional changes intended to pave the way for a return to civilian rule.

The unprecedented turnout is in contrast to years of poor voting numbers under Hosni Mubarak, the ousted former president.
