Arab League seeks Libya no-fly zone
Bloc tells UN to take the measure to protect civilians from Gaddafi’s air bombardment.

The Arab league has asked the UN Security Council to take the necessary steps to impose a no-fly zone over Libya.
The United States backed the call and said it was preparing for “all contingencies.”
