Thai and Cambodian troops have clashed for a fourth straight day – with hours of shelling and machine gun fire.

The soldiers are battling along a disputed border area surrounding a 900-year-old temple located on a mountain.

The fighting has shocked many residents in what are normally quiet rural villages.
