Syrian family seeks justice for slain son

Fifteen-year-old tortured and killed after arrest at anti-government protest.

The United Nations has reported that hundreds of Syrian children have been tortured and killed since anti-government protests began in March.

Al Jazeera interviewed a family whose teenage boy went missing after attending a rally. Five weeks later, an ambulance delivered the 15-year-old’s dead body to his parents. He had been badly beaten and his body revealed clear signs of torture.

The family has since fled across the border to Jordan where they are seeking justice for the brutal killing of their son.
