Pakistan angry with US over NATO air strike

Pakistan closes supply route to Afghanistan and orders CIA off a drone airbase after a NATO attack.

Pakistan is angry with the US over a NATO air strike that killed at least 24 of its soldiers last week.

While the US has expressed its condolences, President Barack Obama will not issue an apology until after a full investigation into the incident has taken place.

Pakistanis are furious – saying that the NATO mission, which the US took part in, violated its sovereignty. It has responded by closing key supply routes to Afghanistan and ordering the CIA to vacate a Pakistani airbase from where US drones are launched.

Al Jazeera’s Patty Culhane reports.
