Pakistan bolsters border security

Peshawar struggles to return to normality as security remains fragile in bomb-scarred city near the Afghan border.

Increased security measures are in place in the Pakistani city of Peshawar as NATO and US troops plan their exit from the country and neighbouring Afghanistan.

Along with the rest of the city, the busy Khyber Bazaar is slowly returning to normal, but the turbulent times and a wave of deadly suicide attacks have left their mark on this city.

Al Jazeera’s Kamal Hyder reports from Peshawar.
