The leader of a Brazilian indigenous tribe has been killed in shooting at his community’s camp.
Witnesses say Nisio Gomes, the spiritual leader of the Gurani tribe, was shot dead by masked gunmen.
Police suspect cattle ranchers may have ordered the attack in the latest confrontation between indigenous groups and wealthy landowners.
