Spain''s austerity election

Spanish voters and EU leaders will be watching closely to see if the winner of Sunday’s election can enact the policies needed to keep the eurozone’s fifth largest economy from becoming the continent’s latest trouble spot.

Ahead for the new prime minister are record high evictions, at a time when 46 per cent of youths are unemployed and one million people face foreclosure.
