The occupation of London’s St Paul’s Cathedral by anti-capitalist protesters has lead to another high-profile resignation.
Graeme Knowles, the dean of the cathedral, said the continuing controversy was behind his decision to stand down.
His resignation follows that last week of Giles Fraser, a senior priest who had welcomed the anti-capitalist demonstrators to camp outside the landmark.
Fraser had said he resigned because he feared moves to evict the protesters could end in violence.
