Statehood strike cripples Indian state
Agitation for creation of a state of Telengana has virtually shut down province of Andhra Pradesh.

A strike in favour of a separate state has crippled the southern state of Andhra Pradesh, where for the last three weeks thousands of state employees have joined in, causing a complete shut down.
Now they have taken their cause to New Delhi, the capital of the country, where they are demanding for their state to be called Telengana.
