Criminal gangs in Russia are believed to be making billions of dollars from the sale of counterfeit and unlicensed drugs, creating a rapidly expanding healthcare crisis.
Antibiotics and heart medicines are the most frequently copied, according to experts, and counterfeiters are using increasingly sophisticated methods to evade police.
