Thousands of Tunisians line up to cast their first ballots in Tunisia’s first ever free elections.

With other ‘Arab spring’ countries looking to the outcome of the poll, the election will also be a test of character for Tunisia.

Most prescient will be the line between secularism and religious values evident in the candidates and their parties.
