Libyans celebrate on the streets

Flag-waving crowds fill Tripoli’s streets to mark death of their decades-long leader and end of country’s conflict.

Many Libyans in Tripoli have taken to the streets to mark the death of Muammar Gaddafi, the country’s former leader.

Waving the flag adopted by Libya’s ruling National Transitional Council, Libyans young and old shouted “Allahu Akbar” while some fired guns in the air in celebration.
