Young Russians divided over Putin

Some celebrate Russian prime minister as a patriot but others say he has stifled free speech.

Vladimir Putin, the Russian prime minister, has turned 59 – two weeks after he announced he would run for president again next year.

While the former KGB agent is adored by some sections of the Russian public, critics say he has rolled back democracy and stifled free speech.
