Prime minister of interim government says he will step down once NTC fighters seize control of Gaddafi stronghold Sirte.
The chairman of Libya’s ruling National Transitional Council has announced he will not be a part of Libya’s next government.
Although Mahmoud Jibril has been a major figure in the conflict, political infighting in the NTC has opened up potentially damaging rifts.
Jibril’s announcement came after news of a potential cabinet reshuffle began to emerge on Sunday.
