Australian town marooned
Disaster relief stretched as flooding makes access to Rockhampton in Queensland steadily impossible.

Queensland’s biggest town, Rockhampton, has been marooned by rising floodwaters.
The nearest airport is three hours north of the disaster zone and only one road remains open.
Even that last link was likely to be cut off by Tuesday. Streets and houses in the town are already submerged, but the flooding is only predicted to get worse.
