Tunisian anger at ‘unity govt’
Protesters, unhappy with the composition of a ‘national unity’ government, are taking to the streets.

A new national unity government has been announced in Tunisia, but protesters are angry at how many members of the previous government have been allowed to keep key posts, including the ministers of defence, finance, the interior and foreign affairs.
On Monday, tear gas and water cannons were used by police to disperse demonstrators, who demand, along with opposition parties, a government consisting of more members not belonging to the ruling RCD party.
