Brazil battles to aid flood victims

Survivors, some left with nothing, seek shelter as death toll in country’s southeast rises to more than 600 people.

Brazilian authorities are struggling to cope with the aftermath of flooding and landslides in the country’s southeast, where the death toll has risen to 628 people.

Some families have lost everything and officials are warning of even more wet weather in the coming days.
