Authorities say more than 100 Hindu pilgrims have died after stampede in southern state of Kerala.

Authorities in the Indian state of Kerala have ordered an inquiry after more than 100 people were killed in a stampede.

They died when a vehicle packed with pilgrims caused panic as it crashed into a crowd at a religious festival, according to local police.
