Security forces in Iraq are facing a rise in attacks by armed groups.

The increase in violence comes as US troops continue their drawdown from the country.

Many believe the attacks aim to discredit homegrown forces.

While politicians argue over the formation of a new government, police officers and Iraqi army troops fear they will remain a key target for attacks as the power vacuum persists.
