A rich coal find in Mozambique is expected to bring dramatic economic changes to the East African nation, once ranked as the poorest in the world.
Mining has started in the northwest of the country, fuelled by demand from China and India.
But the new industry brings risks as well as opportunities, as Barnaby Phillips reports from Tete.
