Malaysian coral under threat
High temperatures are causing increased coral bleaching in Southeast Asia.

Scientists have said that the first seven months of this year brought some of the hottest combined sea and land temperatures on record to parts of Southeast Asia.
The high temperatures have led to some of the worst coral bleaching the region has ever seen.
Al Jazeera’s Stephanie Scawen reports from Malaysia’s Tioman Island on the effects that’s having on marine life.
