Concerns over US nuclear waste
Demand for alternative energy has boosted nuclear, but concerns remain over disposal.

The effects of the Gulf oil disaster have fuelled demand for alternative energy sources, such as nuclear power.
Advocates say it produces less greenhouse gases and is better for the environment, but, there is still no long term way to dispose of the radioactive substances safely.
