Glenn Beck leads conservative rally
Thousands of people gather in Washington for rally organised by right-wing commentator.
It was labelled a rally to “restore honour” in the US and one that was non-political, but on Saturday, Washington’s Lincoln Memorial was filled with right-wing supporters.
Tens of thousands attended a rally organised by television personality Glenn Beck – who’s strongly conservative views include calling Barack Obama, the US president, a racist.

Also addressing the rally was former Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin.
It took place at the same spot where civil rights leader Martin Luther King gave his famous “I have a dream” speech 47 years ago. Beck called the timing “coincidental”, but critics have accused him of trying to hijack the anniversary.
