Rwanda’s Kagame talks to Al Jazeera

Re-elected president denies charges of blocking opposition in the presidential poll.

Paul Kagame, Rwanda’s incumbent president, has won a landslide victory in the country’s presidential poll.

The electoral commission said Kagame got 93 per cent of the vote.

In an exclusive interview, Al Jazeera’s Andrew Simmons asked Kagame to respond to charges that he blocked genuine challengers from standing in the election.
