Investigators are trying to determine what caused one of the worst plane accidents in Pakistan’s history, after a passenger jet crashed into a hillside north of Islamabad, the capital, killing all 152 people onboard.
Reports suggest that air traffic controllers told the pilot of the Air Blue plane to divert due to bad weather.
Yousuf Raza Gillani, Pakistan’s prime minister, flew over the wreckage by helicopter before issuing condolences to the families of victims.
Al Jazeera’s Kamal Hyder reports from near the crash site.
