Khmer Rouge trial verdict awaited
Cambodian prison chief, accused of overseeing torture and mass murder, to learn fate on Monday.

The UN-backed war crimes tribunal in Cambodia is scheduled to hand down its first ever highly anticipated verdict in its Khmer Rouge trial.
Kaing Guek Eav, who is better known as Duch, has been charged with murder and torture.
As prison chief for Khmer Rouge leader Pol Pot, Duch is accused of overseeing the deaths of around 14,000 people.
Al Jazeera’s Harry Fawcett reports from Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia.
