Fazlullah video adds to Swat worry

New threat by Taliban leader forces Pakistan army to rethink security strategy in restive region.

Swat tense over Fazlullah video

The release of a video showing Fazlullah, a Taliban chief previously reported to be dead, urging a group of suicide bombers to attack civilian and military targets in Pakistan’s Swat valley has forced authorities to rethink security in his former North West stronghold.

Pakistan carried out a large-scale military operation to clear the area of Taliban fighters last year, but now they must respond to the new threat.

Al Jazeera’s Kamal Hyder reports from Pakistan on what Fazlullah’s re-emergence means for the people of Swat valley.
