Yoweri Museveni, Uganda’s president, has admitted his government was not “fully prepared” for the blasts in the capital Kampala on Sunday, which left at least 76 people dead.
The Somali group Al-Shabab says it was behind the twin explosions that targeted people watching the World Cup final.
But Museveni told Al Jazeera’s Andrew Simmons he will send more troops to Somalia to help root out the fighters.
