Blindfolded Palestinian demonstrator shot by Israeli army officer

A court in Israel has convicted an army officer and one of his soldiers for the shooting of a bound and blindfolded Palestinian demonstrator last year.

He’d been detained during a protest against Israel’s West Bank separation wall.

As Al Jazeera’s Sherine Tadros reports, this is not the first time Israeli security forces have been convicted of brutality against Palestinian civilians.
