Climate breakthrough ‘unlikely’
Foreign minister cools expectations of agreement in November when Mexico hosts summit.

As people around the world celebrate Environment Day, Mexico’s foreign minister has expressed doubts about a breakthrough deal to combat global warming.
Climate negotiations are taking place in Germany in the run-up to a global climate summit in Mexico scheduled for November.
The talks come just months after the failure of nations in Copenhagen, Denmark, to reach a comprehensive agreement.
