Rescue teams have been using heavy machinery to search for survivors after a landslide triggered by torrential rains buried a village in southern China.
More than 100 people are thought to be trapped underneath heaps of mud and feared dead in Guizhou province.
And floods resulting from the weeks of downpour had forced more than two million others in the region to evacuate their homes.
