Jordan has long been a major transit point for illegal drugs making their way through the Middle East.
The country faces the challenging task of tackling not just the narcotics traffickers, but a significant number of addicts as well.
Al Jazeera’s Nisreen El-Shamayleh reports from Amman, Jordan’s capital, on efforts to rehabilitate those facing severe addiction problems.
