Suriname ex-president’s win likely
Desi Bouters may become president despite his unsavoury past as convicted drug dealer.

South America’s smallest nation, Suriname, is due to vote in parliamentary elections later on Tuesday.
And Desi Bouters, the former president, stands a good chance of being re-elected.
Bouterse is also a convicted drug trafficker and faces trial for the deaths of 15 political opponents.
