Bagram inmates denied US trials
US court rules prisoners have no right to challenge imprisonment at military prison.

A US appeals court has ruled that prisoners held at a US prison in Afghanistan’s Bagram air base cannot challenge their detention in US courts, a right granted to detainees at Guantanamo Bay.
A judicial panel rejected the claim by three detainees that because they were captured outside Afghanistan and transported to Bagram, they had the right to have a US judge review the evidence against them.
Al Jazeera’s Patty Culhane reports on the implications.
