Air India jet crashes in Mangalore
At least 158 people feared dead after plane overshoots runway and plunges into valley.

At least 158 people have been killed in the southern Indian city of Mangalore when an Air India Express jet carrying 166 passengers crashed as it overshot an airport runway and plunged into a valley.
Authorities said that eight passengers in the Boeing 737 had survived the accident.
It is India’s deadliest plane crash in 10 years.
