A leading presidential candidate in Colombia has come under fire for his alleged role in the illegal killings of innocent civilians by the army.
The murders happened when Juan Manuel Santos was the country’s defence minister.
Alvaro Uribe, the Colombian president, says the killings have stopped but local human rights groups say they have not.
The allegations have damaged Santos’ chances of winning the presidential elections.
